AKC
Community Achievement Award 2008 Chief Operating Officer John Lyons announced today the first quarter AKC 2008 Community Achievement Awards. This award was given to clubs and AKC federations and their members who have made outstanding contributions to public education or canine legislative activities. Each honoree receives an AKC Certificate of recognition and AKC donates $1000 to each honorees' club or federation. Details about the honoree's accomplishments are published in the AKC GAZETTE and featured on the AKC web site. The first quarter honorees are: The Delaware County Kennel Club, Delegate Lindy Miller: The Lexington Kennel Club, Delegate Anne Kemp; the Illini Great Dane Club.
