1. Shall have attended at least 3 club meetings within a 6-month period before submitting application.
2. Shall have indicated a willingness to serve the Club in some capacity such as steward, committee member, etc.
3. Member of another kennel club and/or specialty club may be accepted upon submission of letter from former club, waiving regular membership requirements, subject to the recommendation of the Board.
4. Prospective member must not be present at the club meeting at which his membership is voted. If the candidate is present at this meeting, his name will be removed from the agenda and his application will not be voted at that meeting. The Secretary for Club Affairs will notify the candidate in writing of the date his membership is scheduled to be considered and of the above requirement. Sponsors for a prospective Club member must be present at the general meeting where the applicant will be voted on.
5. Shall agree to abide by the Code of Ethics
6. A former club member whose membership was terminated for any reason except expulsion must fulfill all of the requirements for membership in order to again become a club member.

1. Sponsors must have held club membership for at least six (6) months before sponsoring a new member.
2. A club member may sponsor no more than two (2) new members in any single year. A single year is defined as a Club year--from Annual Meeting in September to Annual Meeting in September.
